O Fabuloso Livro Azul

Some of the 37 illustrations for Andrew Lang's Blue Book, translated to Portuguese by Editora Concreta. With the colaboration of the great illustrator (and guitar hero) Bebeto Daroz, who did many layouts and lines.

Here are some backgrounds from the  Jorel's Brother first season episode The Incredible Lateenagers, when I was part of the background ilustrators team on Copa Studio,with the friends Andrei Duarte, Giovana Guimarães, Flávio Monteiro, Wellington Fiuza, Renan Martins e Juan Cunha, trainees Iury and Marina Vasconcellos, under Ricardo Bess' art direction.

Sleepy Jack

I tried a different method of painting wich is to paint everything in shades of gray and then add the colors. It was pretty fast. The modeling part of the composition and colors, took about four or five hours. On another day I finished the small details in a few more hours on Livestream.

Aí está a primeira página de um conto de terror escrito pelo André. Esperamos que esta seja a primeira de muitas. Por enquanto está assim, no lápis. No máximo melhorei os contrastes no Photoshop CS3 e inseri os balões. Ainda estou decidindo como farei o acabamento.

Tenho trabalhado mais em páginas de quadrinhos nos últimos meses, mas prometo que em breve voltarei com as pin-ups e retratos. Aceito sugestões.
